Uplift….a sculpture of geese commissioned by McArthurGlen European Development Ltd for the Cannock Chase Designer Outlet, which opened to the public in April 2021. Thanks to Noah Suzar, of McArthurGlen, with whom I worked closely, to my assistant Toni Schuster, and Morris Singer Foundry.
The work is composed with a series of maquettes.
This look is a look that says there are too many geese here.
After seemingly endless changes to the composition, the final work, at 2.7 metres high, was arrived at. This is pictured below, installed as part of the completion of the site.
